Summer Online Groups Policies
Summer Online Group Terms and Conditions
Valid for Online Summer Group Sessions - Summer 2026
These terms apply to all online summer group tuition provided by Tuition with Emma C during July and August 2026.
1. Booking and Payment
•Sessions must be booked in advance by completing the online registration form provided. •Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and are only confirmed once payment has been received.
•An invoice will be issued once your requested sessions have been confirmed. Payment must be made within 48 hours of invoicing, unless otherwise stated.
•For bookings made within 7 days of a session, payment is required within 24 hours.
•All sessions are booked individually, with no requirement to attend more than those selected.
2. Group Size
•Groups are kept small, typically with around 6–8 students, allowing for interaction, discussion, and individual support.
3. Cancellations and Missed Sessions
•If your child is unable to attend a booked session, please notify the tutor as soon as possible. •Refunds or transfers are not normally available for missed sessions. However, if sufficient notice is given and the place can be filled, a transfer or refund may be offered at the tutor’s discretion. •If the tutor needs to cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
4. Online Session Expectations
•All sessions are delivered via Pencil Spaces, an interactive online classroom platform. Access links will be sent in advance.
•Students will need a working microphone to participate fully. A camera is encouraged but not essential.
•Children should log in from a quiet, suitable space, ready to take part in the session.
•Parents are welcome to remain nearby if needed, but sessions are designed to encourage children to participate independently.
5. Behaviour and Conduct
•These sessions are designed for children who are able to engage appropriately within an online small-group environment.
•Children are expected to behave respectfully and engage positively throughout the session.
•If a child’s behaviour is consistently disruptive or inappropriate, they may be removed from the session and no refund will be given.
6. Communication and Feedback
•Brief feedback or follow-up suggestions may be provided where appropriate.
•Enquiries can be made via email, text, or WhatsApp. Replies will usually be made during working hours (Monday–Friday, 9am–8pm).
