All session are for children in Years 4 and 5 and are delivered online via Pencil Spaces in a small, interactive group. Sessions are 75 minutes and cost £22 each.
Addition & Subtraction
A focused session covering written methods for addition and subtraction, including exchanging where needed. Children will also apply their skills to reasoning and problem-solving questions.
Multiplication & Division
A session covering written methods for multiplication and division. Children will also apply these skills to reasoning and problem-solving questions.
Grammar, Punctuation & Sentence Skills
An English session revising key grammar terms, punctuation and sentence structure. Children will practise identifying and using grammar accurately and look at ways to improve and develop sentences.
Critical Thinking Across the Curriculum
Using engaging material from across the curriculum, children will practise interpreting information, comparing, reasoning, making inferences and explaining their ideas using evidence.
The two Critical Thinking Across the Curriculum sessions will use different activities and curriculum contexts, so children are welcome to attend either one or both.
