Tuition With Emma C

These terms apply to all October half-term online group tuition provided by Emma Cooke, trading as Tuition with Emma C, on 26 and 27 October 2026.

 

1. Registration and Agreement

• A completed registration form is required before a child can attend sessions.

• By completing the registration form, the parent or guardian agrees to these terms and conditions.

• Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

2. Booking and Payment​​

​​​​​

• Sessions cost £22 per 75-minute session.

• Sessions can be booked individually, with no requirement to attend more than those selected.

• An invoice will be issued once your booking has been confirmed.

• Payment must be received by the due date shown on the invoice, which will be no later than 24 hours before the session.

• Joining links will only be sent once payment has been received.

3. Group Structure

• Groups are kept small to support interaction and participation.

• Group sizes may vary, and sessions may occasionally have just one child attending.

• Activities and levels of challenge will be adapted to the children attending.

 

4. Cancellations and Missed Sessions

​​

• If your child is unable to attend a session, please notify the tutor as soon as possible.

• Refunds are not normally available for cancellations or missed sessions. However, exceptional circumstances may be considered at the tutor's discretion.

5. Online Session Expectations

​

• Sessions are delivered online via Pencil Spaces.

• Students should join sessions on time and ready to participate.

• A working microphone is required. A camera is encouraged where possible.

• Children should work in a quiet, suitable environment with minimal distractions.

• Parents are welcome to remain nearby if needed, but sessions are designed to encourage independent participation. Parents should avoid prompting or helping with answers unless requested by the tutor.

• Students may work through a mixture of shared group activities and independent activities during sessions.

• Sessions must not be recorded.

6. Behaviour and Conduct

​​

• Students are expected to behave respectfully and engage positively throughout sessions.

• Please let the tutor know in advance about any additional needs or adjustments that may help your child participate.

• If a child's behaviour is consistently disruptive or inappropriate, the tutor reserves the right to end their participation in the session.

7. Communication and Feedback

​​

• Brief feedback or follow-up suggestions may be provided where appropriate.

• Communication can take place via email, text or WhatsApp.

• Replies will usually be sent during working hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00am–8:00pm).

8. Tutor Cancellation

​

• If the tutor needs to cancel a session due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided.

9. GDPR and Privacy Policy

​​​

Personal information provided during registration will be stored and used for tuition, communication and invoicing purposes, in accordance with Tuition with Emma C's GDPR and Privacy Statement.​
