This free online session is for parents of children in Years 3–5 who would like a clear explanation of the new Gloucestershire FSCE 11+.

I’ll talk through the structure of the new assessment, including the English and maths papers and the wider curriculum element, and share practical suggestions for preparation. I’ll also explain how I am adapting my own tuition in response to the new format.

The session is based on guidance published by the seven Gloucestershire grammar schools and is independent of the schools.

​

The session will last approximately 20–30 minutes, with time for questions at the end.

The session will take place online via Pencil Spaces. No Pencil Spaces account is needed. You are welcome to join with your camera on or off.
